"Gimp" may be too strong of a word, since it's only BDB's shoulder that got busted at Tejon, and its apparently on the mend... also, BDB got some range time in yesterday with his .44 mag so even if he can't carry a bow, he'll be lethal.

BDB and I are hitting a new spot (to us) several miles past Liberty Glen campground this weekend... it's a friend's ranch, and it's big (6K acres), and it's apparently crawling with hogs... and my buddy has a bunch of shepards that he runs as bay dogs... if I ever felt like I was about to go on a near sure-thing hunting trip, this is it (but I've been skunked before)...

Wish us luck... hope to post sucess stories and pics when we return...

The sad part about this is I shoot tighter groups with my bow at 40 than I do with my .44 at 20yards. Means I gotta get real close, either that or just cap them with my backup gun (30-06). I am stoked to get out, should be quite a sight, rifle, hangun, walking stick and a sling
