I know we have four in our group for sure and possibly three more. Of course if we have to pay $50 more dollars to have the place to ourselves (12 or more) my group will be ok with that too.

I'm belated sending out the application packets, by the way, so apologies there. Thought I'd have all this time over the Thanksgiving holiday, but all that spare time evaporated somewhere along the way.

We'll be real close to making the minimum of 25 as of right now for the January hunt. If you've got a few extra buddies who'd like to join the fun, bring them on (ethical, safe hunters preferred, of course).

I'd like to have them all there, but it makes for a little challenge to fill everyone's tag. If we have the same opportunities as we did last hunt, it shouldn't be a problem. Looking forward to getting out there again and hoping for the weather to cooperate.

Those packets out yet? I know you're a busy man, just didn't know if they were on the way, or if my mail got deleted long ago. Its getting close to that time, where the weeks go by fast and it'll be hunting time before we know it.

Mark, you're dead on and my apologies.

App packets WILL go out tomorrow (some went today). There aren't really that many, so I'm a lamer for taking so long. Probably wasn't a great idea to do this one close to the holidays. Guess that's why they have to pay Barbara to do this.

Point being taken as well.. time is fleeting. This weekend is the halfway point of December. Paid apps need to be in two weeks prior to the hunt, so when you get 'em, turn 'em around. If you need to make copies for your buddies, please try to return them all together.

Double check the paperwork, Barbara has said she's not going to be able to cut slack like she has in the past. Incomplete apps will be returned to sender. If that means missing the deadline, she's real sorry and so am I.

Update, completed packets tonight for all addresses I currently have stored.

Noticed I don't have addresses for Dan (Deadducks), HuntCrazy, and strangely enough, I can't find yours, Orso.

There's a minor rush to get those apps turned around for the January hunt... so if you wanna make that one, get me an email ASAP.

For everyone else who sent a request, if you don't have an app packet in the mail by Friday afternoon, drop me an email. It's possible your request got deleted by my spam filter... or it just got tumbled under the other email.

The May applications will probably be ready to go out at the end of January, right after I get the January apps cleared off my desk. Shoot me an email with the appropriate info (name, mailing addresse, number in party, etc.) as described in the post at the top of the forum, and I'll add you to the list.

Packets should start arriving tomorrow. Like I said, if you don't get one in tomorrow's mail, shoot me an email.

When you get the packet, please review the information carefully, make sure you've enclosed ALL of the required information, and get it back to me NO LATER THAN January 11. I have to have it all turned in to Barbara by January 15. If you miss the deadline, I'll return your tag and your money.

Also, to repeat... I only sent ONE app packet per address. If you have more than one person in your group, then you need to make copies of the ENTIRE packet for each member of your party. Please collect the apps from each member, complete with ALL info and CHECKS (made out to Tejon Ranch and Bob Boggs... DO NOT MAKE THEM OUT TO ME), and send them back together as a single package. This will help prevent anyone from getting left out.

We're looking like we're gonna really be pushing to get 25 hunters for this January event. The bowhunt is currently looking even slimmer. If we don't make 25 hunters, the price will go up to $500. If that's too much money, no hard feelings... your tag will be returned and your check will either be destroyed or returned (your choice). If we still have 8-12 hunters willing to pay the extra, the January event will go on.

For the February archery hunt, if I don't have 8 confirmed hunters by February 1, I will cancel this hunt. As of right now, I have TWO application packets out, with THREE potential hunters.
