Sean can't make the March hunt but wants to do the May hunt. I am still trying to figure out transportation...as Sean was my ride. I am currently trying to sell my car to get a good offroad vehicle. I'm currently without one.

Phil,

I'm still a srong maybe for March. I put my time off request in, but have to wait a few to make sure someone is going to cover the days. There weren't enough guys on those days to have it penciled in as a for sure. My budy Aaron is out though, so that would leave four total in our group (Carl, Mark, Jeff and I).

By the way, just got some reports from the boys up on the North Side archery hunt... the hogs are THICK and plentiful!

That's great news Kenny. I'm sure the pig hunting will be way better than this quail hunt we're on in Arizona.

OK, talking to Barbara today and locking it down.

Here's what it's looking like:
  1. Me
  2. Mark
  3. Carl
  4. Jeff
  5. Kenny
  6. Chris
  7. Steve
  8. Dave Allen (BigDog)
  9. Bob Lloyd
Road conditions are still tentative. How many folks have good 4wd?

I'd haul everybody in Petunia if I could, but she's only got two seats. We will possibly need to do some buddying up on the rides if the roads are rough. Plenty of access from the lower roads for folks who don't mind a little hiking, but it'd be good to make sure everyone is taken care of for transport in the hills.

Just plan to bring your insurance info with you to the hunt next week. You can switch it during our check-in on Friday morning.

No word from Barbara... I'm afraid she's a little overworked right now. If I'm not mistaken, there's a group of around eight or 10 that will be wrapping up a hunt when we arrive.

More when I get the word.

For everyone who has questions about the Tejon/JHO hunt in May...

I've cleaned up the pinned topic to, hopefully, make it easier to follow.

This is a camping hunt. You're responsible for your own food, drink, and shelter. A lot of folks bring extra to share, and that's cool, but we have found that trying to organize

To the many people who've emailed me asking about how to sign up, I'm not going to keep sending out the same info... sorry, I have other things to do with my time. I organize this hunt for fun, not for profit... so sorry if the customer service isn't "top notch".

This is the sixth year we've been to this hunt, and a quick search on "Tejon POR" will give you more info than you can ever use.

OK I'm new to this pig hunting thing but I would like to join the May hunt. Can I use my bow or do I have to bring a rifle (which I don't own). Also don't have a 4X4 so I might be hoofing it. I do have a truck and toyhauler if anyone would like to trade accomodations for a ride in a 4X4. How do I get an App. for this hunt. Thanks again.
