With my Dad working on my wife all weekend I have a glimmer of hope that I may be able to make it after all. I wouldn' t open it up to others, as this is one of the special things about this hunt (JHO only). I'm hoping everything pans out and I can make it there again (As this would be my third in a row).

I have a small handful of folks who've requested apps, and yes, I know you haven't received them yet. You know who you are.

The apps will go out as soon as I get a chance. As I've mentioned before, as much as I enjoy this hunt and pulling it together, managing the application process isn't the highest priority in my daily schedule. I will make sure that you get an application packet in time to join the fun.

The number of paid applications in my hands is currently steady at 18.

I think it had more to do with the fact you never let her drive the tacticall vehicle up on Roadmister Ridge. All that bird dogging she did for you while you just drove around plumb tuckerd her out. Not to mention all the snoring that was going on next to your tent after lights out. Oh, and lets not forget the Pitdog that should have been on a leash running around camp.

Dam were going to have a good time.

The check is in the mail, and not the I won't.... well you know the type of in the mail check i'm talking about. This is the real I'm headed to Califorina in May, huntin pigs, havin fun, leavin crapy weather, not having to work, tellin stories, hangin out with old friends new faces, drinkin beer, campin in the hills with a guy that has a striper pole in his camper kinda checks in the mail. I received one more paid app yesterday, bringing us up to 19 "in the folder", with a couple more due this week.

I will be on the move all day today, but intend to send out the current handful of packets tomorrow's mail. For those who've waited patiently, thanks for waiting. Looks like we'll have a decent sized group of hunters.

Hogskin - Thanks for the tip. Now, I don't know if I should cry. I did my taxes early so I can have the refund earlier and use this for JHO's pig-hunt and guess what I found out? I would get it May 9... wah!

Speck - Do you accept credit card? I figure, if I use my credit card, it would not hit me until late May. By that time, I already have my tax refund.

My Check went out with Friday's mail, so I'm in. I couldn't make it last year, but I'm in this year. I'm so very excited. Now I just have to site in my guide gun, iron sites are on, now the scope needs it's turn at the range. Can't wait till Mother's Day!
