The picture looks interesting though. Something looks a little out of place in my opinion. Is it my imagination or does the color of the hide look strange and what about that ear (elks left one)?
The camera most likely had a heavy polarizing filter--those really bring out the blue in the sky. Also, the photographer either a) turned up the color saturation or had a "warming" filter on the camera like a Tiffen 812.
To me the rack looks real. I could care less if it were photoshopped to enhance the pic--I doubt it was faked. There are some monster bulls that come off of the sage country in Utah and it's entirely possible that a 400 class bull like that was harvested this fall here in the Book Cliffs or elsewhere.

You can see the overly blue sky and the similar colors to the hide....heavier in the reds dept.
Doyle Moss and his crew guided Ron on that bull. He has bought the Utah state wide elk tag a few times. This bull was shot on a general limited entry tag and gross scored 433 and may net 426 making it the new Utah state record.
