What set up do you use for antelope? I use my 257 AI with a Sheilen match grade barrel and 2.8X10X44 scope with 100gr Hornady Interlocks. I've taken antelope both times I've gone with this rifle and it drops them in their tracks, even at extreme ranges.

I have several set-ups.  I have a Ruger #1 drilled out to a 7mm STW.  I've never even sighted the gun in.  When you don't draw any rifles tags you don't really need to.  I also have muzzle loader, a .45 caliber Knight with a thumbhole stock and a vari-x II.  This rig is brand new and also not sighted in, but I hope to use it this coming season.  My last set up is one that is sighted in - out past 100 yards even.  It's a Mathews.  I haven't hit anything with the 57 grain expandable Rockets yet, but I hope to soon.

Another #1 fan!

I normally shoot a Ruger #1 RSI in .243 with a Leupold 2-7x on top.  I'm building a custom #1 in .270 Win that will hopefully be done by this October for out local deer/bear.

I don't have one yet, but the new .260 Remington looks good. Winchester now chambers it in the Compact version. I thought about a Leoupold 3X9.

I have a Model 7 in .260 with a Leupold compact 3-9x on it.  It's one of the few non single shots that I use a fair amount.  It seems to be a really good round for our CA deer.  Really mild and I've yet to have anything less than stellar performance from any of the 140gr Partitions that it spits out.

After 15 years of putting for a Utah tag I finally drew one in 99. Spent months scouting and shot a nice heavy horned 15" on the second day I hunted. Spent the next several days hunting chuckars and calling coyotes. I used my custom Ruger #1 25-06. It has a green laminated stock, Leupold 6.5-20 Vari-X III, and a Lilja 26" SS match bbl. I used the 100 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip. The antelope was broadside at just over 90 yds.

If I ever get drawn, I will use my newest gun. A Weatherby .257 mag. I won it in a raffle 2 weeks ago. Now I need to buy a scope, probly another loepold or nicon.

You lucky dog, John!  Maybe this is the year you'll draw a tag and get to use that new rifle.  Your luck seems good so far...
