I was just wondering what any of you thought the biggest antelope you've ever seen would score B&C.  And what state was the booner in?  Does anyone have any pictures of potential B&C trophies while they were still alive?  I have some decent pictures, but I don't have a scanner.

The biggest goat that I have ever seen was just over 19 inches. It was taken here in Modoc about 12 to 14 years ago. I don't know what he scored.
The biggest goat that was ever taken of our ranch was 17 5/8 in length huge bases, long prong, but because he was  22 inches wide he had a 5 point deduction. even so he scored an 85

A 5 inch spread deduction?  He must have been taken a while back because B&C did away with that spread deduction nonsense several years ago.  So, what you're saying is that he would've scored around 90 without the deduction.  Wow!

The biggest antelope buck I've ever seen alive was in an Arizona hunting unit in 1992. It would have scored at about 90 B&C inches (I'm comparing it to several bucks i have photos of that score in the 90's) as it had mass, length and symetry. The largest buck I've taken scores 81 5/8 B&C and came from AZ.
I'm hoping to draw a tag this year as my BP's are built back up; however, with the drought we're experiencing, this might not be the best year to have a tag.

I'm gonna scout AZ unit 19A Saturday and Sunday and see what's cookin'.  Hopefully I'll be able to read the drought situation based on what I see.  I think that last year will be a more determining factor on this years growth.  Of course that's just my opinion...I could be wrong.

In 19A the drought doesn't seem to be having an effect on the horn growth, but there's almost no cover which will make it nearly impossible for fawns to hide from predators.  I saw one fawn already stumbling around!  This is the earliest I've ever seen one drop.  The place looked bleak and dry.  It was kinda depressing.  Also, near the school house on the west side of the archery only area they've put up some more buildings and a road crossing from north to south off of 89A.  Also kinda depressing.

If your talking east of Roberts Road, it is no longer legal to hunt there, You can only hunt in the eastern portion of the archery area. Too bad, there are some really nice ones in there. They also removed about 30 tags from the early hunt. I'v given up applying there altogether, it's a zoo. I still like to go there and look at all the 80" ers though!

I can't stand the zoo-like situation either, but your right, it sure is fun to look at the all the bucks.  Now we just gotta find somewhere else to start hunting.
