Where are you hunting elk this year?

Will put in for Utah lope and cow also.

Nice. What unit will you be hunting? I'm doing archery cow/spike outside Payson in August and another cow depredation hunt in January. Although if I tag out in August I'll give the voucher back to the land owner.

We'll be hunting the Wasatch.It's been a good hunt for us.

Right on. Wasatch is a good area from what I've heard. I just moved up here a few months back, the Wasatch is on my radar.

Dad and I usually hunt SW Colorado 3rd season at 10,000 ft. But dad is getting older (78) and the elevation and cold while tent camping is getting to be too much for him. This year we got invited to hunt with a friend of mine out of Dinosaur, CO in Unit 10 for a mid Dec cow hunt. Elevation is around 7,000 which will help dad. And while it will be colder than where we usually hunt, we will be hunting from my buddy's house so will be warm and dry every nite.

ds2, that should be an fun hunt for you. I've bagged many of elk in that zone. Both my boys, my sister and I will all be up in that same zone with that same tag so maybe we will see you! Good Luck​

Central Utah Cow Elk... just got notified!

Use to hunt in a private ranch in Price for ten years till my friend lost the lease on the ranch. Still putting for Central Mantai bull hunt.(9 points) and worry about it later when got drawn....

Hey jullian, Sorry the hear your buddy lost the lease.... the Central Manti isn't a bad area to hunt..... but I might beat you to thebull tag...14 points now and the only Nonres to not draw a MZ tag, talk about bad luck this season... but there is always next year!
