Just got off the phone with George, he hasn't been up to the ranch at all. But, he spoke to one of the cowboys who runs the cattle there and he said hogs are THICK!!

In the spririt of Oct's hunt today I BBQed up some pork chops. Yumm added bonus was the pork fried rice. Omg I can't wait. Mezcan and I will probably hit the range one more time just to make certain rifles are zeroed even though we were knocking down bowling pins at 200 yards. Any body in the area who like to hookup at burro canyon shooting park or angeles range shoot use a message.

If'n some one don't show and a spot open's is there a lot of walking on this hunt?
The legs I'm equipped with have a lot of mileage on them and may not hold out.

BrianS,We would love to have you. I do know of some areas where its not to bad, but to be honest a lot of this ranch is steep with lots of walking. But there are areas where George can drop you off and you can sit by some watering holes, with a little walking if you want. There have been guys who like hunting this area and have taken pigs. Your call, just let me know.

Mel, Just to give you and everyone else a heads up, I've got a 14X16 wall tent I can bring. Since we won't need the wood stove, I'd say it will sleep at least 4, maybe 5. So if some don't want to hassle with bringing a tent, they can bunk in mine. Warning though, I snore!
