Wow!......this sounds like fun. Wish I could come. I just want to give some advise to those people that are going. I wouldn't recommend a full size truck on the ranch roads. A quad is the best vehicle to get around to the better and more productive parts of the ranch, although a jeep or compact truck (toyota tacoma) will get you to where the walk is not too bad. If anyone want specific info on honey holes, email me and I'll see how I can direct you to some of the spots I've seen and shot hogs. Good luck to y'all.

Once I get the emails, i'll reply with my address so you can send out the deposits. As soon as I get all the deposits, I'll send everything to George. I will also update the hunt list as "Paid" for those deposits I have received.

George said if possible, we should set up a meeting time and meet at the fish hatchery.

I will most likely get there about noon, set up camp and then arrange to meet everyone at the hatchery.

Here's the address to the hatchery, you can mapquest it for detailed directions.

Basically take Dry Creek Rd. out of Healdsburg and follow it all the way to the hatchery. Dry Creek Rd. becomes Skaggs Springs Rd. just before the hatchery, the hatchery will be on your right just after you cross a little bridge. It's pretty easy.

Another question, will we be able to use our own quads???

I spoke to George again, and he said his insurance agent says he's covered if someone was to wreck their quads while on the ranch. George does seem a little up in the air about it, If you do bring the quad, i'm sure you will be somewhat regulated on where to ride it. He won't let you just cruise the ranch, and actually with so many groups going out, it may screw up someone's hunt if you don't know where they're hunting.

Let me know who want's to bring their quads, and I'll speak to George again about it.

Ok, I had plans on bringing my own quad, but not sure of it yet. I don't know the area at all, and just wanted a quad in case I got in a sticky situation.

I wish I could go. But I agreed that I would never hunt on Easter, Halloween or X-mas (until the kids turn 12 – then they’re going with me).

I hunted with Ken and Scot Galloway (?) on the ranch before. It was an awesome place and I want to go back.
