Wild pig hunting Inc.

He has 4 people hunting with dogs today and he wasn't sure whether they would get all the pigs they wanted (I think 7) today so they may be there tomorrow also. If he uses separate areas for the dogs and s&s then it is possible he will put me in that spot. He said with 20000 acres I'm not going to be competeing with the dogs for pigs. He said if they are still out there he would put me in an area and have to go back with the dog hunt.
Can't wait! Hopefully I can get some sleep tonight.

Good luck to muddy_udders! Can't wait to here his story and see the pics.

If you havn't hunted the Lake Sonoma area, you will be somewhat suprised on how steep this place is. The buckeye lake area isn't too bad, but there are a lot of hills to climb, it's no doubt it's some awesome country. My big but needs to get into a little better shape, still got a couple of months so I'm not too worried.

Wish you could make this trip, would be good to hunt together again. I didn't even realize until a couple months ago you moved, guess I'll have to find someone else to hunt D5 with.

You still have two months, sure you can't talk the wife into a California Easter, it's gonna be fun

Sure wish I could Mel but with work, my dog and finances in this economy I just can't make it work. I tried to take the whole family to CA but with the dog I need to stay back. I am sending my wife for a week or so the first week in March and then planning to drive down to South Carolina with the pooch and try my hand at hog hunting public land down there. Should be interesting........

Damn, you're not even coming on this hunt and you're talk'n smack. When I pass on a hog I'd like to think it's because I'm acting as a steward of conservation (as opposed to too much aiming fluid the night before).

Mel, i am sticking my deposit in the mail right now. i already had my little warm up on the hills of Lake Sonoma a couple of weeks ago, we have a 3 story home with 3 flights of steps and still when you hit those hills the first time it winds ya, but after that its all good, you will have a firm butt
