With all the hub-bub over entries in the record books that are questioned and some even later removed from the books, would you enter a legally taken kill? Do you think people are looking for a way to knock the records out of the books all the time?

Why?

Why not?

I would enter a buck into SCI or a State Book. Why? Because it's fun to have a goal to shoot for when I'm hunting and I like to look at pictures of big bucks.

Certain clubs are always looking for the bad in people and trying to disqualify trophies. The problem with these clubs is that they don't trust anyone. They don't trust the hunters that enter their heads and they don't trust the people they appoint as measurers.

Is shooting for a record book buck or entering a buck into a book the only important thing? Never. I know guys on both ends of the spectrum and I know one thing...they all love to hunt. If you lose sight of the most important thing - your love for hunting - then you should stop and rethink what you're doing.
