270 WSM

I will be shooting a M70 270 WSM with 140 grain Accubonds. Is this too much for antelope? Suppose I could go to 130 grain BT but this is not what I like for my muley load. I am not sure about the longevity new .25 WSSM or I would have went that route.

No it is not to much for a lope. You can kill them with a .243 no problen also.
a .270 WSM would work good also with that load.

My .270 works great with the 140's so your WSM will be an awesome goat killer. My son is goint to get my .270 and I've got the wife looking at my PO for an HS Percision in the .270WSM flavor...still waiting for the approval.

I remember on the old Back Pack Hunter web site, he said he shot a lope with his .375 H &H

Not a whole lot to a pronghorn. I use a 300 win. mag. slinging 150 grain soft point. Just punches a nice clean hole. My 13 year old daughter has used a 220 swift with 60 grain soft points for the past couple years. They both seem to get the job done. This is my 13 year old with her goat from last fall. She did a 200 yard neck shot, dropped where it stood.
