Anybody else gearing up for salmon season?

I’m a fisherman. What kind of salmon fishing?
Flys on a river?
Full sink tip ocean streamer fishing?
Dropping the cannon balls at 7 fathoms with a head and cut bait?
Micro bait hoochies behind deep flashers?
Chasing schools fly lining with dines, chovies and herring?

How are you chasing them?

In southern cal, our local biggey is yellowtail which can be a real b___, hit and miss. Truly hunting….

Mainly trolling downriggers with hotspot 11” and 4-6 foot leader to a bait head holding anchovies. Next is hoochies behind hearing dodgers. 20 to 250 deep and hope for some big kings.
