This weekend’s nature festival at Point Reyes features 70 field trips and presentations. The theme is to see, identify and enjoy the life of birds at the height of their spring migration at Point Reyes National Seashore. The above gallery of Bay Area backyard birds — common at Point Reyes, the Marin Headlands and the Presidio and San Francisco Headlands — was provided by photographers with the National Park Service, including many amazing shots by San Francisco’s Will Elder.
