Here is probably the best buck I saw so far. He has pretty good prongs. BTW Paulc hes hanging out where we got your buck, they have pretty similar horn structure. This one just isn't as big ;)

That is an awsome pic of the badger.

Great pics yh . How tall , and how do you think the buck in the fourth picture would score ? I drew this year in WY unit 90 . I'm having a tough time telling a good one from a decent one .

Sheep Shooter,
Its hard to say from that photos but I think about low 70's. He lacks length, and mass above the cutters. He seems to have decent prong length though. The first thing I look for is the prongs jutting out above the ears. This means he'll have good length, probably 14-15"+. Then I look for nice long prongs, that you can see are well pronounced and jut out significantly from the main horn. Then look for mass that is carried all the way up to the tips. Lastly look for horns that hook back in to make the classic heart shape. It it has all these qualities, SHOOT!

Here's the one I took last year in WY that just made B&C. I dont remember all the exact measurements but he had 7 2/8" bases, 6 4/8 and 6 5/8" prongs, 15 4/8 and 15 5/8 length.

Yeah I wouldn't pull the trigger on any of those antelope, but the badger is a different story. Are they legal to shoot, I would love one for the top of the safe.

SDHNTR Very nice buck. Thanks for the measurements , that's what I was looking for . I don't have much of a problem scoring deer and knowing what a good one looks like but antelope is a little more difficult for me . Thanks again .

SDhunter explained it great! The most important measurement on an antelope is MASS. There are more mass measurements than anything. None of these bucks are shooters in my unit, but that 4th buck might be a shooter in 90.
