So the wife wants to go do the tourist thing at the salton sea for a weekend. I figure if we're out there I want to try to hunt one morning. I don't have a boat but do have a sea kayak I fish the ocean in. Anyone have any suggestions for places I can launch at and hunt? I figure a paddle of 3-4 miles max from the launch point would be as far as I want to paddle. The wife is open to going anywhere at the sea so I have a choice of where to go. With the kayak I should also be able to launch from just about anywhere. I should be able to get into some tight areas in the kayak and my kayak is almost impossible to tip so I'm not worried about that. a dozen dekes and the shotgun and I should be in business.
