I kind of like finding those places they go after feeding, usually have them to yourself ! Good luck all ! we are pretty excited to go down to the desert and hunt some doves as always !

So, how is everyone doing? I'm halfway to the limit and taking a break for breakfast and a dip in the pool. Two of my party members limited out already and are on Euro duty.

My brother and I limited around 930. He got a band. A little slower than normal. But plenty!

Wife still needs a few so we may go back out. Up to her. Hopefully. I wouldn't mind doing Euro patrol myself.

Just got back from Brawley. Wow, we slayed em. I got my limit by 7:00 and two other buddies were not far after that. ALL Morning Dove. Not a single white wing or Eurasian. Which I think is kinda weird? idk. We actually left the spot with them flying all over the place. Definitely was better this year than last. Had a little bit of wind which actually felt good and kept the bugs down. Good luck to y'all for the evening shoot!

Very nice. , I had 5 white wing 10 mourning dove . was lot of white wing . We had spinners out and they seem to avoid them as far as I can tell. The mourning dove commit suicide on them tho

We did amazing in Blythe. Two man limits by 7:30. If we could have actually hit something it would have been faster. Haha. But why leave early, got to let a few live. Other buddies at a different spot almost had limits by 7:30 they had obligations so left but did way better than last year.

I'm so happy everyone did well !!!! We had a blast. Wife struggled this morning.. she hates shooting in a group. This evening shooting by herself she was on fire . A couple doubles and high crossing shots , decoying mourning dove and me As her trusty bird boy . Oh thank goodness ! happy wife happy life is true in dove hunting for real

My Dad and I had an awesome morning, I shot my limit by 7:45. Doves were swarming the field, it was just a matter of waiting for good close shots. This was one of our best years if not the best. I walked right by a rattlesnake while I was setting up in the dark.

As Openers Go this was One of the BEST, I WAS Limited by 6:20 , the rest of our group, limited by eight fifteen. we hustled back to the hotel, cleaned the birds, got them on ice or in the refrigerator and then headed over to our traditional breakfast spot at La Paloma.

Alot of WhiteWings this year.

Did you know the Arizona fishing game adopted a 15 bird limit? No matter what species of dove this year.

Sounds like everyone had a stellar opening morning. Today was SLOW!! Early morning thunderstorms rolled through Blythe and must have kept the birds in bed. Still got 8, definitely a better year than many before.
