bowhunting for antelope

what is best of method to hunt antelope?
decoy? spot-n-stalk?, haven't check if the ranch i ll be hunt on have waterhole or tank...(45,000 acres)the ranch may have catcus, hills, rocks since i have passed the area few time to some place so...

season open aug 20 to 24

Find where they are crossing a fence and set up a blind.

I promise you there will be water somewhere on that ranch. Check with the rancher and see if he'll let you on a day or two before the hunt. Drive the ranch and check the watering places for tracks. You may even be able to glass some coming to water on your scouting days. Set your blind up on the best watering spot and wait it out. The tough part is they may be watering in the middle of the day and you'll have to sit from daybreak to dusk in that nylon oven. I think your hunt will be too early to try a sneak behind a decoy.
