That's the hunt my Dad and I drew in 99. email me and I will give you the specs. also, do a search here on Jesse's and you will probably find what you are looking for.
Here's the goat I got. Not a great pic but it was 14". Kind of an odd rack.
Congrats on the tag! I hunted this zone in 2002 and had a wonderful time. You can see my story in the "Hunting Info" section of this site. The story is titled, "Brad's 2002 Likely Tables Buck," or something like that. I'm happy to help if you have questions.
Try looking near Alturas at a place called Fairchild Swamp, there is a county dirt road that runs by it. You should find the lopes in the open areas all around that area. It's a very big area..so drive the roads and glass like crazy. Once you spot them from a mile or so away...the fun begins. Very BIG open areas. Its weird...first your kinda in the trees then it opens to what look like a mile long dried up lake that was a foot deep at one time. Those BIG open dry grass areas are all over the place. It takes allot of looking one day and hardly any the next to find Lopes. Start at Firchild swamp...ya cant go wrong.RG
