Any idea what the biggest pronghorn taken in California measures? Just wondering if there is an advantage for a resident to keep applying or just make the drive to WY or comparable state. For us, it would be a long drive for them CA zones even though we live here.

The state record with a bow, CBH (California Bowmen Hunters) is 83", shot last year. My advise, keep applying in Ca and hunt Wy, or several other good antelope states until you draw your Ca tag. You may never draw Ca. Don't wait. Ed F
