Hopefully this will work. One happy hunter and one proud dad. No pics of dad though. Dan, hope you don't mind me posting this for you, I know you were trying to get it to work. Great Job!
Subfan Thanks for the help. I would like to get together and figure out how you posted the pics. Met your wife and daughter. You have a nice fam. I didn't realize you were related to Joe.
One secret to getting young ones to hunt is working to get them on hunts where they can be sucessful even if only for game birds. Kids lose interest quickly. We have a jr. deer tag to fill in Nov. But first I have a hunt in Utah.
It's too bad more women don't hunt. In my experiences they seem to be more patient in the field and require less time to become good shooters.
We drew southeast muzzle hunt. This is my first year hunting Utah in about 15 years. It sounds like we will have a good season. The high peaks already have had a little snow. I'm going up early to see how the elk hunters make out. We are in limited entry bull area that is supposed to be full of huge bulls. Good luck on the general hunt. So when are you going to go chase them speed goats in Az.
Subfan, I hear you leave this week for your daughter's lope hunt. Good luck. I hope you have as much fun with your daughter as I did mine. Let us know how you did. I'm already planning next year's antelope hunt. Well have fun and good luck.
I'm not sure I would have made the same decision but it panned out for her. I was glad to see WON published her article as she wrote it. Just got back from Utah....Great year for deer hunters.
Subfan..I heard you had a nice time, but no goat. That's o.k. It's not all about shooting something. I'm sure You both will never forget the time you spent together. I took a nice 3x4 in utah. Not huge bit good for a first time muzzleloader hunter with a broken foot.
