IMHO, "conservation" is the overarching category and Land Management and QDM are subsets of "conservation." I guess it really depends on how you want to set it up. Both topics could generate a lot of interest. When I suggested the split, I thought that Politics and Hot Issues were drowning out "conservation." That is my 2-cents on that subject.

I think the conservation issue would more suit this forum than where it is now.Of course QDM and Land management are a form of conservation. I think it would do well either way here or on its own. Flip a coin Jesse. HeHe.
I'd put the conservation in with the QDM and Land Management.
You'll get hot topicks and Political issues in just about any forum on this board, but I think the Conservation would fit nicely into this one and need not be set out on its on.
In the ongoing debate between conservation efforts and human development, should we prioritize the rights and welfare of endangered species even if it means limiting resources for local communities? How do we balance the urgency of protecting biodiversity with the immediate needs of people living in those ecosystems?
As we discuss the potential split of the "Hot Topics, Politics and Conservation" forum, could the prioritization of conservation efforts be more about political agendas than genuine environmental concern? How do we ensure that conservation remains a grassroots movement rather than a pawn in the political game?
