Electronic Caller

What electronic caller would you recommend for a couple of newbie predator hunters. Me and my cousin are going to start and are willing to spend $100 or so to get us a good caller and hopefully start up a new addiction

We have taken a few foxes, yotes and one bobcat while deer hunting, but we want to start calling/hunting them in the off season. Any opinions are welcome, thanks

Gus, An addiction is what is going to happen to you and your cuz. I use the Lohman mouth calls and I use the FoxPro E caller, it is kinda of pricey but worth every dime. You can order it from Bass Pro Shops for both types. If you do get a caller, get a video on calling preditors. I have one and you can learn some tips on hunting them and calling. Good Luck

Gus,you could build yourself an E-Caller,do a search in the homemade thread or find out how at Predatormasters.com,it is basically a Cassette player or CD player(Walkmans) and outdoor speaker from Radio shack and an amplifier from Radio shack,speaker wire to the the speaker out away from you...if you really get into it you can also find out info there on useing a Transmitter/receiver and do away with the speaker wire. oh yeah,you can build one for less than $100.00 if you have a cd/cassette walkman laying around.

I will look into building my own, thanks for the link passthru. I have built some game cams from the info on this site, so maybe I will just build my own caller and save myself a few bucks
