I did both but I am hoping I drew the archery tag.

Last year I put in for archery across the board and drew my 3rd choice with no points. I bet you drew the archery tag. I drew 067-68 Battle Mountain.

I drew area 6 deer tag three years ago and they had left over resident archery tags for lopes in 67/68 so i put in the second draw and got that tag it was a tuff hunt but it got me one week of scouting for deer while I was there.How did you do I came home with noting but I had a fun 2 weeks.I did find a big buck dead in willow creek lake in must have fallen through the ice in the winter he was half rotten and floating in the lake.

The first 2 days I sat at waterholes where I'd seen bucks while scouting, I saw nothing. The 3rd day I tried spot & stalk and I got a heavy short buck with the help of my son using a decoy as a shield to get within range.
Messiest bowkill I'd ever done.
