I HUNTED IT IN O6..its a slam dunk . I was Rifle hunting but I bow will work the same way!! my shot was 40 yrds!
I HUNTED 2ND period and most of the biggest one were killed from the folks who hunted 1st.
I still got a very nice buck...
just hot as heck and so plan on boogie'on home as soon as your done.
likely table is off 395 on the east side about 13/20 mi out of Alturas heading south. then you drive a dirt road to a spring
park...(they'll be a few trucks there).walk along the small rocky rise or walk on and continue on road if you has a quad its better.
if you snake along the rock thing head north 300 yrs and the table is just above you(its flat gentle rolling grassy platteo(sp?).
if you walk or quad ride up on the table take the first left all the way til you come to a fence that where you want to be it in evening
now turn around and go back 200 yards and park your quad..grab some water and walk west about
until the gentle roll hides your quad and sit and wait....
what happens is all those antelope come in to drink.. but they come from a draw way passed that rock Pyle fence and the make a huge
circle that's take a while ( you'll see them and then there gone ..don't worry it's just the way the land rolls) just keep your eyes open because they may end up really close.....its really a very easy hunt and don't waste your time going any where else unless you just want to sight see.
there all over but kinda hard to find.
my son drew Lassen apprentice either sex antelope which is the first period so we been lucky....actually I am the lucky one!
good luck

I think that your best bet will be to set up along a fence line and catch one going into an alfalfa field. They are spread out all over the area so finding them won't be that hard. Your problem will be getting close enough for the shot.
