It's not too late to send in CA antelope tag apps for you last minute folks like me. Lastminuteitus as usual.
I did ours today at the post office for $13.65 express mail. You can probably mail them out tomorrow (Saturday) even since they told me ours would be there by Sat. Go early if you do as the post office has short hours on Saturday. Deadline for apps is Monday, June 2, 2003 by 5 pm in Sacramento DFG.
FEDEX WILL NOT deliver overnight to a post office box so don't waste your time there.
Why us California hunters are still using the USPS to send in apps instead of doing it online like all the other states just boggles my mind. One hunter I know who is new to California messed up and forgot to buy his deer app. He thought all the apps were in the big game booklet like other states. For at state that is hurting for cash you would think they would make the process a breeze to sell more apps.
