This is coming up and just curious to who is gonna be camping up their. Ill be camping at the campground their with a red jeep and a pop up tent trailer. Come on by for a beer and the camp fire. (hopefully you can have a fire) Ill be their friday afternoon.

Make sure you call the recording (831-386-3310)on Thursday evening or Friday before you leave to make sure there are areas open. It is rare but sometimes there can be zero areas open due to training. Would not want you to drive all that way for nothing.

Oh ya, i plan on calling. That would be a hell of a drive just to find out all the areas are closed. Thanks...

Or you can all way check on their website for the open areas for the coming up weekend. they usually shut the site down on Thursday for updating and turn it back on at mid night or Friday morning.

May I join you guys too? I will be there on Saturday morning. But I don't know the direction; would anyone please show me how to get there from Orange County? I checked on Google Map and it showed me to the corner of Mission Rd and Co Rd G14, but I don't know where I'm supposed to be to check-in.

Also, the largest problem I have to face with right now is that I got some problems with my FFL dealer, so I won't get my gun until the 13th, so that I only have 2 days, the 14th and 16th, to practice with it. Hope I can master the gun quick

The hogs above are not all mine, most of them are guys i meet in the field and helped find or drag their hogs. The calaco one hanging next to the old fat guy (me) is the one i took over new years weekend.

As far as bringing them back thats all part of the game. i just drag and rest drag and rest. I just started using my moutian bike this year and have wheeled two out on that so far. Also i have passed on some biggies and taken the smaller ones. If i take down a big one, i have cut them in half and do half at a time. Ive boned out a couple but that is a last resort for me, its cleaner on my equipment to just drag. Some guys i know bone out every hog they take, it seems to work for them.

Here is one that i cut in half, he was a toad. (Not a FHL Hog)
