Speckmisser,

I also sent a request to you on Monday, just wondering if you received it also?

I’m sorry to bother you, Phil, I know you’ve got a million and one people emailing you, but I haven’t heard back, and haven’t gotten my application in the mail… Am I on your list of Sendee’s to receive a packet?

Thanks,

Jesse

I'm pretty sure I've got everyone's emails. I've also got a sh**pot full of stuff I need to accomplish, both at work and personally, so I'll get the apps out as soon as I can. My printer took a crap (again!) so the labels didn't get done yesterday, which means at some point I have to sit down and hand-address envelopes (which I hate doing... that's why I got the label-maker).

All I can say is this... when they go out, everyone will still have a fair and equal chance to get your money in and reserve a spot. Those who don't make it will have the option of guaranteed spots in the either the May gun hunt or the June archery hunt. But we'll worry about that then.

For now, please be patient.

Edited to add:

Rockdaddy, would your group be willing to be split up, if there are not spaces for all of you? I hadn't considered this before, but since there are only 12 slots available to the first 12 paid applications, there may not be slots available for all of you. You're still welcome to apply, but I do want you to know that there is a risk that I can't get you all in on the same hunt.

Again, sorry to bug you, Speck. All of us who have been on Tejon hunts appreciate your assistance and organization!

Instead of hand-writing labels and paying for postage, I have another option for you...

As Tejon allows the copying of their paperwork for distribution... you could fax me front and back sides of the paperwork. My fax is paperless, it converts the incoming information into an Adobe Acrobat file that is received by email as an Adobe attachment.

I then simply forward the attachment to your email, and you can then forward via email to all recipients who have requested the application. They print it from their home computer, they mail it in.

If you would like to do that, my fax # is (seven-seven-five, eight-four-five, four-three-oh-six)

HOWEVER, I am leaving TOMORROW for Colorado, and will be gone for 14 days!!! wooo hooo. So if you want to go that route instead of hand-writing and paying for postage, do it before 6pm today.

Just trying to help.

Wait there was that one time with two women on a drunken binge in Bangkok, but heck that's a story to be told around the campfire, not here on JHO.[/b]

How long ago was this? If it's 5 to 8 years ago the micro-organism might just be coming out of gestation.

This should be on another thread. But seriously, be careful out there. While on training, we were told that there is 40% incident of aids among the hospitality workers (yeah, they are politically correct there too) in Bangkok.

We just settled for Thai-style massage.

Speckmisser,

If for some reason there are not enough spaces, go ahead and pull our applications. Two of the guys would be coming out from AZ and I told them "either we all make the cut or we all sit out, no one is left behind!".

I hoping though that we make the wire since I have the cash in hand.

Thanks for the update!

I just want to touch basis and make sure the applications have NOT gone out yet... I haven't seen one and would hate to miss because of snail mail. No rush, when they get out they get out....

I've been remiss. Shoot me. I know it's only a matter of copying, addressing, and mailing 20 packages, but I just have had other priorities...

Nobody has missed anything yet.

So... anybody here who requested a packet and hasn't received it? Shoot me an email, and I'll make sure and get it out to you. Please make sure to include Tejon Archery Hunt in the subject line, so I don't get you mixed up with the other hunt.

Heya Guys,

For all the interest that was bandied around here, I haven't got a full complement of 8 hunters for the February archery hunt yet. I have six hunters paid and registered. We need at least 8 to hold the event, and I can handle up to 12 for the weekend.

I know several of you are still sitting on application packets. Get 'em in. Registration for this hunt closes on 1/26/07 so if you wait too long...

Also, there's still time to request an app packet if you're interested. Follow the instructions above and get me your info, and we'll get you squared away (remember, email requests only... no phone calls or forum posts).

If we do not fill this hunt, I will cancel the June archery hunt dates also, and all checks will be returned to those of you who've already submitted your apps.

Ring-a-ding... this is the reminder bell and it's running out of steam.

Looks like the JHO/Tejon Archery hunt will be a one-time deal (if that).

Got the OK from the missus to take that weekend off and hunt, I'm in.

So, that makes 8 now right? I couldn't tell from the thread, who else is in on this one. Just wondering who I know and who I don't. Spec, is there a clause in the contract that Orso gets his own cabin out of snoring range from the main cabin

BDB does make 8.

If you sent a packet and a check, and want to sing out on the list, feel free to do so. It's not my normal policy to post up someone else's intentions unless they specifically ask me to do so.

That's fair enough. I'm in and I have a buddy sitting on the fence. He will decide today. My packet should arrive in a couple of days and the check will be on it's way. I look forward to seeing you all, who ever you are

You can wait until the hunt is over to hear the stories..

Or you can make them.

I did send my packet, so I'm in. See you guys there. If you haven't hunted Tejon canyon yet, you are in for a treat and a lot of hiking.

I sent my check in.

I have learned over the years hunting tejon, that I am not much of a hunter. But I have the money so they keep letting me come back LOL. See ya there.
