Likely Tables Period 2

My buddy and I drew this hunt. Finally drew something since the point system was put into place. Anyone hunted this before? The success rate is very high, what should we expect?

I hunted Tables period 1 last year. It is a fun hunt with lots of animals. If you can get up there a few days early and scout. I killed my goat opening day up on Devils Garden.

I also have a Period 1 tag in my pocket (soon!). Should be a fun hunt. I have a few friends that have had it over the years and they did very well.

Bucks will be rutting during the hunt. You will see lots of goats south of Alturas on the Tables. I'll have to look at my map and see what reservoir my Dad and I hunted where I got mine. We were the only ones hunting there on opening weekend. Dad got his up in the Devil's Garden out of Davis Creek area. We got hooked up with a local there that showed us some spots on the Garden to look for goats.

Try the area south of Pine Creek Reservoir. Guys hunting around Payne Reservoir will push the goats up into that area.
