I got these pics in an email today. No info other than this goat was taken this year.
I do know that the hunter in the pics is Doc Myers and in the 1st pic with him is Chad Smith of Vaquero Outfitters and in the 2nd pic with them is Tony Grimmett of Pronghorn Guide Service.
This is one heck of an Pronghorn!!
I had a chance to hunt with Tony in '04 but ended up hunting with Chad. They both sure know their Goats!

Supposed to challenge for the new record. The guy that shot this one, shot the current record also.
I believe he bought both Govn's tags this year.
He is the Dr that invented LASIK surgery.

That's a beautiful goat! It's got to be 18 inches...

UNBELIVEABLE!!! I'd estimate this goat @ 23.5" of mass, 7" prong, and 19+" long X 2 = 99". Whatever he measures, he's a toad. Tony Grimmett always seems to know where the monsters are! A good buddy of mine shot the #2 B&C antelope ( called DW ) with ELi Grimmett a few years ago.Money talks and B.S. walks. Good Job Dr. Meyers.

that guy is a freakin monster!

question : anyone know why they have not yet split up record book animals for those taken on public/private land? Granite it would have to be on the "honor system," but i have always wondered why this has never been done.

I'm hav'nt heard where this buck was killed , but most likely it was on public property. Just about every antelope I know of that Grimmetts has guided hunters to in Arizona, was killed on Public property.

The buck green scored about the same as the JoeBoo buck that was officially scored at 95.
