last fall i hunted southeast montana near broadus for mule deer. while there, we saw a lot of antelope and was thinking about putting in for the draw next week. didn't draw deer this year in montana, so were going to hunt muleys in northeast wyoming and then try and hunt southeast montana for antelope. does anyone know what the hunting pressure is like the second week of the season? last year we never saw another hunter while deer hunting the area.

Should be a easy hunt and no pressure...............Just have to ask the land owners if you can hunt..Most are good at letting you hunt............

Times change, but about 30 years ago I shot an antelope in central MT. Never hunted public land, but the landowners were happy to allow me to hunt(to them the "goats" were pests). One feller did charge me a six pack for tresspass fee.
