My 10 year olds Oryx from a couple months ago

This is a couple months old, but, getting time to post it now.

Was a fun hunt. My oldest son joined us for the hunt and we had a great time. We put a lot of pressure on Zach my oldest son and myself.

These are tough animals to kill and they need to be hit just right. Zach got his tag for a depredation hunt and we hunted on Ft. Bliss the NM side.

He shot this bull at 120 yards and killed him with 1 shot.

This bull is 38" on one side and 37+ on the other. They dont get much bigger than this and the biologist told us it was the largest off the range this year.

That's a fine Oryx bull your Son took, congrats!

He shot the bull with a 7mm08 at about 110 yards. Dropped in his tracks. Hit him high, caught top of lung.
