National show to be aired on Wright antelope hunt

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A national television program will air a show on antelope hunting in Wright for the second straight year.
Keith Warren, host of the show ''Hunting & Outdoor Adventures'' on The Outdoor Channel, was in town recently to shoot the program. He spent several days hunting around town with a professional guide.
''Last year, we managed to take a great buck on camera and I was hoping this year would be as good,'' Warren said. ''Little did I know it would be much better.''
Despite a wet start, Warren shot a doe in the ninth fairway of the Haycreek Golf Course in front of about a dozen spectators, who later shook his hand and thanked him for coming to town.
''That is why I love Wyoming,'' Warren said. ''These are my kind of people.''
Warren said Campbell County is by far the best place to hunt antelope in the country, and he wanted to share that experience with hunters nationwide.
The date the program will air has not yet been determined.
