Has anyone hunted them in Nevada? I'd like to know what general areas are known to hold larger bucks. Since I donate my license fee for a bonus point on deer every year I figured I might as well get points for elk and antelope while I'm at it. I've only got 2 points for antelope, but you never know...

33 is the Sheldon Antelope Range - Historically very good although limited access and no offroad vehicles.

Any of the Northwest units (Stay North of I-80 and West of Winnemucca) - some new restrictions due to the Black Rock Wilderness closures. Check the NDOW website. Moisture is good up there now but by the season its going to be very dry unless things change.

Feel free to e-mail me if you have questions

Nevada has "BIG" bucks in ALL units. Most of Non-Res. tags are in the N.W. units and for sure are more difficult to draw, percentage wise.Look at the Units on the S.E. side of state. Some years, very few applications are appllied "HERE".Units with 1 tag in 2002 Quota or a ? can be "EASY" draws---Good Luck---
