I found that not many hunters have had access to this unit. I was lucky enough to be one of the first nonresidents to the zone. I completed the hunt by myself, from start to finish. The area is extremely remote and don't think I would go alone again. I did some initial scouting and found the main areas. The area is in drought conditions and the Antelope were around the watering holes. The day before I had spotted a nice 15"+ buck, but when I returned, another hunter was set up. I went scouting and found some other areas. After scouting all day, I turned a corner and there he was. Standing in the middle of the road. I stopped and they slowly grazed away. I set up and took a 200 yard shot. The buck walked over to the road and died. Couldn't asked for a easier harvest!!! I set up my camera on 10 second delay and ran around like a mad man to get the pic. 12.5 in beams and scored 67 pts. It may not be a trophy or record book to many, but is a memory I will never forget. I am now a Antelope addict and will start my venture for a record book Antelope.
