Yeah, figure if two groups want to hunt the same area, we can just take turns or flip a quarter...the pigs are everywhere and there aren't any "bad" spots, just "better" spots.
How long a drive do you guys have? Too far i'm gonna assume.

It's about 13 hours from my house to the cabin. However, it is a 1.5 hour flight and that 's are mode of transportation on this trip. Might actually have some energy to find some hogs.... I think we fly into San Jose and drive from there...

Arrowslinger, not the "Secret Spot", no one knows about this hidden treasure! Only a couple True Hunters have been there, and this would be unfair to the Oregon Team!

I don't think it's the fletchings... I think it's those broadheads you use!

Sure wish I could be there for this hunt. Ought to be some serious smack-talkin', pig stickin', hell raisin' fun!
<

And you guys will probably take some good hogs in the process!

OK boys, enough of the love fest, we all know that the hunters in this contest are great shooters and skilled at finding pigs. Lets get back to the fun stuff, smack talkin. I still need to talk to Chopper, but plan on me coming up Friday night to treat you guys to some good eats.

Some thoughts for the novice videographers. Don't worry to much about filming the stalk. Make sure you're right in there for the shot. You can always go back to recreate the stalk. There might be to much camera movement if your trying to get the whole thing in one shot. You'll end up making the video look like the Blair Withc project and get everyone quesy. Most of the time you're more than likley going to be in the brush, but if you get an open area, then hanging back and filming the whole thing might just work.

Ok, back to the smack...

I believe it's still a state, but we will probably have to take on the name of our southern neighbors with all of you damn transports. Pretty soon the muscle head will be our gov.

Is Oregon even considered a state?
i think it is more of a state of mind than a place to live

Orso,
the feed is awesome through the entire weekend. The pigs will definitely be up and moving. There may be some blood loss. Poor, poor, pigs.

Lurediver,
You dummy. In the US we us the term "states".
In Canada, where Oregon is, Canucks use the term "provinces".
The people from Oregon are known for their woodsmanship and hardiness.

They refer to each other as "Beaver."
Did you get that?
"BEAVER."

There has been some confusion on the exact locale of Oregon. I will clear this up for you.

Oregon is a U.S. state on the west coast just north of Mexico.

I hope this helps.

Chopper also said for everyone to beware of this new strain of pigs he's recently, they tend to howl more than grunt....( odd tail )
