My buddy sent me this from Hawaii look how high the rub is on the tree and the size of the tusk

Holy crap that is a huge tusk exposed. Wow. For some reason the tusk in Hawaii seem to get longer. I got a 200 lb’r there many years ago small body but the tusks were 3 1/2 inches. Crazy!

Ive crawled around @ liggett with my 870 slug barell and have seen hogs taking a shot and not finding it. It is intense if you haven't done its a hoot but you wont know unless you tried. But thats what its all about beats staying home. Have hunted with hntboar and few others on this forum.

Tooth wear is only half the equation. The other half is tooth growth, which is fueled by testosterone. It is possible that pigs in HI have higher growth rates, too.
