jim, this time that hog just got the good old faithful .270win
with 130gr sierra boatail."lead". and i did feed the condor, but not to worry for the chicken lovers
it was a pass thru, so that one bird will have to go out of his way and digg around abit to find the deadly projectile

Hatchet I am impressed! Most folks would have given us the 500+ answer! I've had the chance to see and weigh a lot of hogs, and I think 300 is conservative, and 350 might even be a little conservative. No matter what that is an awesome boar. Did the meat stink? I have had old boars go both ways, either they were tough but edible or you could not feed them to your worst enemy!
