What's the word on Cecil the Lion?

No matter how it comes out it puts a bad light on hunters in general... Not sure if it was the outfitters fault or whoever but it sure stinks for all hunters not to mention the poor lion who basically suffered for days...

Saw today that Palmer's vacation home In Florida was vandalized. From what I have read about some of his other exploits I can't say I have a much respect for the guy but I think things are going to far. Let the courts decide his guilt or innocence but other than that just leave the guy alone. The whole thing is turning into one big goat rope.

Yeh like I mentioned his Marco Island vacation home is only about an hr away from where I live it's about having some big bucks to live there.
Yeh they spray painted lion killer on the garage door left cups of animal crackers and pig feet too as a message and now they have 24 security at the home, crazy ha.....tra

Tried to follow this thread but honestly all I saw was a bunch of bickering going back an forth. On some other forums I have read articls that were written by others that were in camp at th time or that were in neighboring camps. Whats true is tough to tell at this time. But I have seen many reports that state the lion was not baited off the park. In fact the lion was seen coming into an elephant carcass that had died of natural causes. The carcass was also 2.5K from the border to the park. I've also read news reports from the media talking to nearby villages and everyone was excited that the lion was killed. I also noiced you guys talking about the price. I've got multiple family members and freinds of the family that have lion hunted. 25K is the going rate for a lion hunt, but the going rate for killing a lion is another 25k. Thus a typicall rate is 50k for killing a lion. It is what it is.

I am not sure why people are always quick to judge... None of us have all the facts and of course the media only shows SOME of the facts.....Why everyone rushes to judgement is beyond me.. were any of us there?? Did we witness the actual event? Hearing it from someone else and what the truth is usually are not the same.....

Social media creates these firestorms and what if this guy actually is telling the truth and he had no idea and is innocent?? Just saying???
