It's Africa. The only good lion is a dead lion as far as they are concerned, same with crocs. There was zero outrage over it until the American media grabbed the story and ran with it. The people that will lose the most out of all of it is the Zims, not many hunters are going to be spending their money in Zimbabwe anytime soon...and not many hippies are willing to pay several thousand dollars to take a picture of a "majestic creature"...

I still can't believe the story got that much attention. Everyone so concerned over a damn lion, I wish Americans would get that up in arms over helping veterans or homeless people...

It's plane and simple now that social media is one of the greatest powers that everyone from all over the world has and is involved with to voice their opinion and when anything gets the attention it does now on social media it takes a fast rolling effect and everyone jumps on the bandwagon whether they have the facts or not if it's right or wrong if true or not it just gets out of control supper fast but just as fast as these stories get out of control and everyone gets in a uproar in such a short time no one cares anymore and they are on the next big social media story. That's why I am not on Facebook, Twitter and a Instagrahm or hash tag # or any other social media groups out there.
JHO is my only form of social media I am involved with and that's more then enough me. Trying to deal with real life everyday society is challenging for me so I don't have the time to deal with all the other people on Internet social media society besides Jho. It's amazing that people have all this free time somehow to be involved with with the multiple social media outlets on the Internet all day everyday I gusse nobody has time to work these days just chat continously on Facebook, Twitter, Instagrahm and hash tag #.......lol......tra

Yup, pretty much because there was basically nothing done wrong like I said from the beginning. Zim "changed" their trophy hunting laws for about 4 days over it then realized how much money they would lose so reverted back. It's the most corrupt country in Africa.

Minnesota dentist Walter Palmer will not be charged in the death of Cecil the lion. Zimbabwean Environment Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri told reporters that after meeting with police and the prosecutor general, authorities determined that Palmer went to Zimbabwe for the hunt in July with "all the papers" in order, Reuters reports. Palmer returned to work last month, but is still being greeted with protesters at his dental office.

His Papers had better have been correct or he would have never made it out of Zimbabwe, Melissa Bachman received the same Media Lynching that Palmer did, The difference was she killed her Lion it didn't suffer for days until it was shot and killed by the guide.
She didn't cut off a tracking collar and try to hide it, like Palmer and his Guide did. Yet the anti's tried to have her fired from her job and crucified just as they did Palmer.
