I felt lucky to draw as the 4th alternate for Likely Tables antelope.  This weekend I was stunned that at least 4 people dropped out (or their checks bounced!) and I made it in.

Only problem is that I have no idea how or where to hunt antelope in Zone 3.  I've been reading plenty of stuff and feel comfortable with the basics, but I need someone with some experience to grant me some knowledge...

I also drew area 9a for a Deer Zone...  The stars and moon must have been in alignment this year!

I will be scouting the area soon.  I'm like you, not sure what is going to happen.  Will sure give it my best attempt.  Maybe we can scout together.  Talk to you soon.

Great.  Give me the scoop when you get back.  I can't go.  It is just toooooo far to go to scout. Plus, I am already scouting for Muleys in X-9a.  (Wife only gives out so many passes).  I will go up a day before the season starts and scout around a bit.

I would be extremely grateful if you could pass on what ya saw!

Which period did you get?  Early or Late (mine)

I live in Ridgecrest, CA.  Just north of Edwards AFB.  South Central CA.  Where is Auburn?
