2004 HUNTING SEASON BEGINS

WGFD

11/14/03

CHEYENNE - In a way, the 2004 hunting season has started. Over 85,000 2004 Big Game Application Booklets have been mailed to the nonresidents who applied for Wyoming big game licenses last year.

In previous years, the G&F mailed booklets to all nonresidents who applied in the last two years. The mailing was scaled back to reduce costs, said Tom Rowe, G&F License Draw manager.

"We want to get booklets to all prospective hunters, so if you didn't apply last year but would like to hunt in 2004 just contact us," he said.

Prospective nonresident hunters should contact (307) 777-4600, http://gf.state.wy.us/wildlife/application...chure/index.asp
or WGFD, 5400 Bishop Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82006.

Resident hunters can pick up application booklets at license agents and G&F offices.
The biggest change hunters will find in the 2004 booklet is an approximate 20 percent increase in most license prices.
