WY Area 52...need some info

I am trying to plan an antelope hunt and i heard there is a lot of public land in area 52 and the draw rate is pretty good. If any one have any insight to this area it would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you have 2 preference points the odds are bad to draw 52 type 1. Type 2 is a little better if you have 1 pp. This is pretty much true anywhere in the state with a lot of accessible public land. Don't get discouraged, do your homework and you will find a hunt.

I have hunted 50 before. Lots of public land out there. Get a BLM map and call the Warden in the area. They'll point you where to go and tell you about any ranchers might let you on thier property.

If you do get a tag, you can stay in a Hotel out of Rawlings and drive to any spot in 52 pretty easy.
