I harvested my 1st Archery Antelope Buck & Doe in 3 days of a 5 day hunt with Cal Taylor. Center of the Nation Outfitters. I shot this buck with a Mathew switch Back @ 40 yards and he drop on the spot. 2 Days later I shot my doe @ 18 yards when she expired @ 40 yards.

Yes I hit him in the Neck. He was walking and stopping checking out this doe that was coming to watering hole and the wind was whipping from behind him. Its easy to shoot from a ground blind if the animal standing still but not when they decide to walk. This place has alot of animals. Area 23 in Gillette,Wyoming issues the most Antelope tags so it was kinda easy to draw a tag.

Congrats on a great bow buck. That's definitely on my list, and it's not an easy task.

Gillete is sorta dry just depends on the season and how much rain they get. It rained a little when I was there. The outfitter just recently got another lease that have a place to stay instead of motel in the town of Gillette. Good luck!
The Outfitter name is Cal Taylor 307-689-0249, Tell him you saw my post in Jesse.
