Our group drew tags for Antilope in area 32,south of casper. I have heard Wyoming is having a bad drought. How bad is it? How much effect will it have on hunting this fall? Will the horn size be smaller than normal. Thanks for any info. Lone Hunter

It does affect the horn size, but, depending on the unit you should still have a good hunt.

Last year i drew a tag in NM on public land, met up with a freind and we spend 1 whole day of a 2 day season for me in a drought stricken area that had always had antelope but almost none last year. We moved to a higher elevation and started seeing goats.

Use your glasses and scout as much as you can.
good luck
