Man it’s been a minute since I’ve been on here, sorry. Who drew X12? I’ll be up there for 4-5 days in the opener, then watch the weather for later in the season if nothing in first trip.

Nice , I managed to secure plenty of hunt time but family and work events are killing my scouting time. Just make the best we can out of the hunt time ! Looking forward to to it !

I will hold out for a few days for something descent. After that anything can happen. lol

One thing to note, they have an ATV jamboree going on there on the opener. So expect to see them more then usual

Oh my. Well good thing I plan to hike in away from the road. ! My brother has yet to get a buck after a long time trying. So he is first up. I'm looking for that 2.5 year old or better. I can pass on the real little ones . Thanks for letting me know me know bout the AtVs

Looked into the Atv jamboree. It appears it will be staged in Walker/ coleville area. I will start much further south .

The road to Lobdell gets overrun by ATVs, as I found out the hard way.

Yep they love to go up Mt Patterson etc.. That's one of the closer spots to Walker where the ATV jamboree is. Should be extra bad that weekend. I'm definitely getting away from any roads or trails for the first few days . I don't even want to hear traffic

Between the ATVs and tree tourists, those backroads get busy. Hope you get onto one.

Got word of a big buck hanging out with a couple other smaller bucks in an almost inaccessible spot. That’s where I will be on the opener says he looks to be about 28” wide 4x4

I don’t have a tag but i do spend a lot of the time in the area and I’m thinking of hunting bears in x-12, do any of you have some located from scouting that u want out of there??

My buddy sees bears up there, but didn’t really say what area.

This was a couple years ago - seen a bear (several times) along the Little Walker not far off the highway. Also saw a good size one off the road south of Buckeye Creek.
