thinking of hunting

North Freitas Unit this next season, is a 2 man fishing kayak adequate to access it? I will probably do some afternoon scouting this off season and do some evening hunts to learn the area.....do you hunt from the boat here or just walk to puddles to hunt after boating in...?​

You might get better or quicker answers by calling the DFG guys in Los Banos.
I dont hunt there but I imagine you could get run over by some mud buddies if you are out in the dark in a kayak

That's what I'm thinking too, might just do afternoon hunts, I honestly kill more ducks doing noon hunts then morning ones anyways
