Got yours, K-rad. You're good to go. I don't spend enough time here to post a running tally, but seriously, when I say I've received only a "couple" of paid apps, I literally mean a couple... as in three or four.

Dave, honestly it's hard to say. If everyone who said "the check's in the mail" was actually in, we'd be fine. But my experience putting these things together tells me one thing... hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Based on past years's responses, we're definitely NOT on pace to make 25, but there is always a big flurry of apps right at the wire.

By the way, the youth hunter price does NOT go up if we don't make 25 hunters... only the adults.

MUST be complete and all of the required documents (tags, vehicle registration, checks, etc.) MUST be included.
OK call me slow but when you open up my envelope you should see

1 Tejon app.
1 rules reg signed
1 lead ammo rules signed
1 actual hog tag (that will be returned to me the day of the hunt)
now here is where I get lost
do you need copys or originals of my
vehicle registration,
hunting lic,
vehicle insurance card (for the vehicleI am taking)
and do I need special permission to take my trailer( that is what I am planing to stay in ).
I would rather ask these question and find out now rather then waste your time with a half a$$ app.

Guys, have a great trip and good luck. I just can't swing it this year, and I was really looking forward to it.

Hey Guys, I thought I could not make it but it looks like I'm able to make it now. Really looking forward to the hunt and meeting some of y'all. Does anyone know about a permit for the Rhino? I have registration and insurance but I read somewhere about a permit. I would hate to get up there and have no wheels.
Thanks

Rog,

I called "Carrie" at Tejon on Friday and spoke to her directly about the UTV's. You MUST have insurance on your sidexside to run on the ranch. She did not mention anything about registration. I would just photocopy both (to be safe) and send it in with your packet. She didnt say anything about a "Special Permit", so I think you are good to go with just the proof of insurance. Hope this helps...HH714

Thanks to the guys who've picked up the questions so far. Good info all around.

Six days to get those apps in, fellas. Which really means four days, since if it's not in the mail by Friday it's gonna be late.

As of right now, it looks like folks might want to be setting that extra $100 aside, as we have a total of 11 paid apps and need 14 more to make the 25 required for the $450 price.

Oh yeah, forgot about you, Dave... so that means we have an even dozen paid apps. Still 13 short...

And a reminder... for those of you who are signed up, and don't want to pay the extra $100 if we don't make 25, I'll make the final announcement on Monday (Apr 26). At that time, if you want your check and tag sent back to you, shoot me an email and let me know. Otherwise, I'm assuming that you're good with it and will be prepared to pay the extra during the pre-hunt check-in.
