Okay, a bit more: Game animals are regulated because there is a scientific need in-order to maintain a healthy population. Whereas varmints, such as coyotes will maintain a healthy population despite intensive hunting pressure, thus no need to regulate the hunting of them. So in short, my comments boil down to basic ethics in regard to responsible hunter participation in the management process.
